Wedding Photography FAQ's

What areas do you cover and are you willing to travel?

I am based in South Petherton in Somerset.  I am right on the Dorset and Devon border so I cover weddings in Somerset, Dorset and Devon.  Anywhere within 50 miles of my studio is covered for the prices quoted.  I am more than happy to travel though if fuel costs are covered.

What is your wedding photography style?

I would describe my wedding photography style as being natural and relaxed.  I like to include a good mix of natural reportage photography and posed formal group and bride and groom shots which all together give you the best view of your day.  Please take a look at my portfolio to see some examples of my favourite work.

Whats included in your photography packages?

Every package includes the following:

  • All pre wedding meetings (at least 2) to discuss everything about your day
  • All venue visits (you are welcome to join me on these if you wish)
  • An online gallery for you to share with friends and family and order prints
  • A bespoke USB with all final images on from your day, everyone hand edited and re touched
  • All products as listed for the package

Do you offer Wedding Albums?

Yes!  I offer two different makes, my Deluxe range which are £250 for a 30x30 20 page book and The higher quality Graphi Studio range which start at £380 for a 25x35 20 page book.  If you book my Diamond Package then a Deluxe album plus 2 smaller parent albums are included.

Can you hold the date for us?

Sorry no, to be fair to everyone I cannot hold a date or pencil you in without a booking fee or signed contract.

How many photographs will I receive on the USB?

The amount of images will largely depend on the package you opt for, how many guests attend and the co-operation of the guests on the day (not everyone is willing to have their photographs taken!)  On average though, usually on a full day wedding you should expect no less than 500-600 images.

Will I get the option of colour or Black and White for the photographs?

Yes!  If you want me to, I can provide every photograph in colour and black and white at no extra cost.

Am I allowed to print the photographs on the USB and share on Facebook?

Yes!  The USB comes with printing and online usage rights for the photographs meaning you can print the photographs as many times as you like at a vendor of your choice and share them on Facebook.

What if my family and friends want prints from the wedding day?

Your family and friends are welcome to order prints and any other products I offer directly from the online gallery.  All you would need to do is send them the link to the gallery and give them the password.

Will you organise the group shots at the wedding if we want them on the day?

Of course I am more than happy to arrange any group photographs that you want on the day.  When I do the venue visit I will find the perfect spot for all the photographs to be taken.  At our final meeting before the day, you can give me a list of all of the group photographs you would like included.  I will arrange all of the photographs on the day, I usually ask the best man to help round everyone up on the day so this is not too time consuming.

We don't want any group photographs, is this ok?

Yes of course!  Many couples prefer all of their photographs to be relaxed reportage style wedding photography and want all of the images to reflect the story of the day.  Group photographs are completely optional.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

No problem at all.  I have photographed lots of weddings where it has rained on the day.  When I do the venue visit I always look for indoor locations for the photographs to take place should it not be possible to get outside on the day.  Usually it's just a case of changing the time schedule slightly to fit with the better weather so for example we might wait until after the wedding breakfast to do the group photographs if it rains straight after the ceremony.

Does Angel Eyes Photography have insurance?

Yes I have comprehensive insurance cover which covers my equipment and both pubic liability and indemnity cover.

We are interested in booking, what happens next?

Firstly, please get in touch as soon as possible to check if your wedding date is currently free.  If it is then we will arrange a no obligation informal meeting at my studio to have a chat about your plans, look at the contract and cover any questions you may have.

We are happy with everything and definitely want to book, what do you need from us?

Great!  All wedding reservations require a completed contract and a booking fee.  The booking fee is 25% of your overall package price and is taken off the final balance which is due no later than 28 days before your wedding date.  I can accept payment of the booking fee in cash via appointment at the studio or bank transfer.

What happens if we want to cancel or change the date of our wedding?

If on the rare occasion you find that you need to cancel your booking with me then I have a simple and fair policy.  The booking fee is non refundable and this is not negotiable.  A cancelation may also be subject to further charges which will be outlined on your contract.  Please note that upon booking your wedding in to my diary I would have turned down all other work for that date.  If you need to change the date a new booking fee is required to secure the new date and then if I am able to take another booking for your old date you will receive a refund of 50% of that booking fee.

How long after our wedding day will we receive our images?

Images are usually ready to view in the online gallery within 6 weeks of the wedding date.  Your USB will be ready shortly after that.

I am more than happy to answer any questions that I haven't covered here.  Just get in touch either via email or phone/text on or 07936 146121.

Wedding Celebrant(non-registered)
A photographer is the most important part of a wedding ceremony. He/she can capture the whole wedding at a glance with a few clicks that no one can do. Before any wedding, a couple should have a meeting with the photographer and talk about their criteria. They can also take a pre-wedding photoshoot for just breaking the shyness in front the camera.
