Preserving childhood memories

Well, I’m a devoted mum of three, and my children and family are my world. They bring me an immense amount of joy every single day. It’s rare that you’ll find me without a camera in my hand, even when I’m not working. I am always photographing my children - it’s my way of preserving the memory of their childhood, which seems to just fly by! 

And I imagine that’s why you are here too – you want to freeze time and keep the memory of their childhood alive through photography, right?

A highly-experienced newborn and baby photographer

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012 although I’ve loved photography since I was 12 years old.
 

I established my photography studio in November 2014 which is in Drayton, near South Petherton in Somerset. This is just 4 miles from Crewkerne and Ilminster, 10 miles from Yeovil and 16 miles from Taunton, so is very easily accessible from the westbound carriageway on the A303.  Before that though I worked on a mobile basis and photographed motocross events from 2012.

My beloved late Grandad was a photographer and when I was a child, he inspired me to pursue photography as a hobby. I’m extremely proud to be following in his footsteps and am thankful for his encouragement – I absolutely love my job!

My favourite thing about my work is that I get to capture precious moments in the lives of you and your family. I love being able to help you document important moments such as the arrival of a new baby in the family, and every milestone from then on, right through to first birthdays and beyond.

I aim to capture every unique detail about your child – those cheeky smiles, adorable pouts and fun personalities are a complete pleasure to photograph. And my sole aim is to create high-quality portraits for you that will become lasting memories of precious family moments.

A welcoming, relaxed and professional experience

I’m a very relaxed person and a session with me is completely dictated by your child. Many clients have commented on how easy-going I am and, it’s true, not a lot fazes me!
 

As I’ve been photographing children of all ages for a few years and have worked with hundreds of little people in that time, honestly, I’ve seen it all! So, do not worry about your child not cooperating on the day of your photoshoot. I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to gain the trust of your little one which will help me to capture brilliant photographs that you’ll love.

Award-winning photography

I have won many awards for my photography and improve my skills by regularly attending photography mentoring courses. It’s important to me that I continue to develop and improve as a photographer so that I can create for you the best quality images that I can.
 

I am also an approved member of many professional photography organisations including The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and The Guild of Photographers.
