Please note that whilst at your photo shoot any children in your care are your responsibility. Please do not allow children to run around, touch ANY of the photography equipment, or pull any of the props out. Any breakages will be charged at the appropriate rate and must be paid before any photographs are released for viewing. Please also make sure that all footwear is removed before entering the photographic area. (socks are fine)
Please arrive at your shoot in your chosen outfit and with hair and make up done if you wear it. If you have any props you would like to bring with you like a child's special toy for example then please feel free to do so and I will include it in the photographs. I have a good selection of props but if you have seen something in particular you would like me to use then please let me know at least 24 hours prior to your shoot so I can make sure I have it available on the day. When choosing your outfits for the session I recommend plain colours NOT patterned clothing to avoid clashing. Dark blue jeans/trousers/skirts and white or black tops are perfect. Please all wear black socks unless you intend on having bare feet. (unless something else has been advised by me in prior communications)
Please be aware that if children are involved in the shoot we will work at their pace, not all children are happy to be photographed as soon as they arrive so I may need to spend time with them helping them feel more comfortable. Also I would advise that you do not bring your child when they are tired or due for a nap, if possible try to arrange for you child to sleep before the photo shoot if a nap is usually required. I recommend that you leave things to me on the day, I will talk and interact with the people being photographed so that they are looking at the camera, this will make for much nicer portraits for you. Please also only bring the necessary people with you to the session, there isn't much space in the studio and having lots of people in the room will be a distraction to those being photographed, especially babies and young children.
If you are coming for a baby session or first birthday then please note that the session will mainly be focused on the baby, there will be time at the end for family and sibling photographs. During the session in order to get the absolute best from babies I do advise that distractions are kept to a minimum so if you are bringing older siblings for photographs at the end then please ensure that they are not a distraction for the baby. In my experience the best photographs are when baby is looking at the camera and interacting with me. If baby is feeling shy or I need any help I will ask parent or siblings to come and help.
Thank you for choosing Angel Eyes Photography.
